Electronic Cabinet Locks replaces mechanical cam locks

In this blog I am going to discuss the new “Electronic Cabinet Locks” by CodeLock.  This Lock is a direct replacement for mechanical cam locks that can  lock up cabinets, lockers, medical carts and other such items.  They fit doors with a thickness of less than 1/4″(6mm) to over 1″(25mm).  The Electronic Cabinet Lock has 4 code levels; Master code, Sub-Master Electronic Cabinet LockCode, User code and Technician code.  The Cabinet Lock is powered by 2 – 1.5 AAA batteries and has an emergency battery override.  The following is a list of the most important and unique features of the Electronic Cabinet lock.

  • Over 50,000 openings powered by 2-1.5 AAA Batteries.
  • Made out of Zinc Ally with a Silver Grey Finish.
  • Stainless steel buttons with an audible press.
  • Master codes are 8-digits long and User Codes are 4-digits long.
  • Has a 9 volt battery override that can be placed against outside contacts.
  • Fits door thickness of less than 1/4″(6mm) to more than 1″(25mm).

Functions:

Repeat Code Mode…….This is the default function and the way all new locks will be delivered.  This function is used when the same codes will be repeated.

Single User Mode (Locker Mode)…. This user will enter a single code to open the lock one time, then it will be erased.  This is used for short term use such as lockers.

Auto-Unlock……Locks can be programmed to open automatically after a preset amount of time has passed 2,4,6,8,10 hours.
