About the job

Role / Job Purpose:-

 

  • To deliver repairs to Breitling specification on quality, lead time and cost

Key Duties

 

  • Carry out full services, dial and hand fitting, and partial repairs on all Breitling calibres up to models with complication modules*, as well as all calibres you have received training on, to Breitling standards of quality, lead time and cost.
  • Adherence to all relevant Breitling policies and procedures
  • Promote the company values
  • Any other duties and reasonable requests, as required by the Workshop Manager
  • Excludes Perpetual/Annual Calendar, Rattrapante and Tourbillon calibres

Principal Accountabilities

 

  • Reading the job card to ensure the customers’ requirements are met
  • Ensure all repairs are carried out using techniques and tools according to Breitling standards
  • Ensuring that all spare parts used are allocated to the correct job
  • Ensure any additional required spare parts are ordered according to current policies and procedures
  • Ensure you are contributing to your unit’s productivity, whilst adhering to Breitling standards of quality, lead time and cost
  • To ensure all work passed to Quality Control conforms to the agreed Breitling Standards of quality
  • Ensure all paperwork is appropriately filled out, attaching any required testing documentation, before passing the work to QC
  • To understand and promote the company values

Production Requirement

 

  • Ensure you meet the agreed weekly production levels according to the companies Standard Times of Operation

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:-

Watchmaker

  • Self-motivated and well organized l
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of customer expectations / requirements
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Pro-active problem solving
  • Good levels of concentration
  • Good eye/hand coordination
  • Proven track record working on quality watches
  • Previous bench experience
  • Trained watchmaker
  • Trained on ETA 775X movements or equivalent Chronographs
  • Trained on movements with complication modules – Advantage
  • WOSTEP Trained – Advantage
  • Knowledge of Bre
  • itling’s products and watchmaking procedures – Advantage
